ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - A woman has been taken into custody after three teenagers were shot in downtown Athens earlier this week, police say.

Tatianna Wilbon, 24, was arrested on Tuesday. She faces three counts of aggravated assault and three counts of possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

On Monday at around 3:50 a.m., Athens-Clarke County police officers were called to a fight in the 100 block of East Clayton Street. They dispersed the crowd, but it gathered again near Lumpkin Street, escalating into the shooting.

The teenagers were taken to a local hospital, where they are expected to recover, police say.
