The Philadelphia Phillies will open the 2025 MLB playoffs at 6:08 p.m., or 6:38 p.m., Oct. 4, Major League Baseball announced on Oct. 1.

The game time is dependent on whether the New York Yankees or Boston Red Sox win in an American League wild card series.

If the Yankees win, the Phillies will face either the Los Angeles Dodgers or Cincinnati Reds in Game 1 of the National League Division Series at 6:38 p.m.

If the Red Sox win, the Phillies will face either the Los Angeles Dodgers or Cincinnati Reds in Game 1 of the NLDS at 6:08 p.m.
