“Ink Master” is back for Season 17, and this time the competition has a theme: “hometown heroes.” The show, hosted by Good Charlotte frontman Joel Madden (who also founded music companies Veeps and MDDN), returns on Paramount+ on Wednesday, Oct. 29 with three new episodes.

After that, the show will continue to roll out new episodes weekly. “Ink Master” is available on Paramount+ globally except in Japan. Truly Original is the production company behind the show; besides Madden, also returning are judges (and three-time “Ink Master” champ) DJ Tambe, Ryan Ashley (the first female tattoo artist to win the competition) and famed tattoo artist and Nikko Hurtado.
