ALEDO, Ill. (KWQC) - Two people are charged after a home was searched in connection with a drug operation in Aledo.

A search warrant was executed on a home in Aledo based off an investigation by the Quad Cities Metropolitan Enforcement Group and the Aledo Police Department, the City of Aledo said in a media release.

Police found 250 grams of meth and 15 MDMA pills inside the home, officials said.

32-year-old Emily Colson of Aledo was charged with possession with intent to deliver 100 to 400 grams of meth, a Class X felony and possession of meth, a Class X felony.

Investigators found a second person was involved in the operation, officials said.

45-year-old Daniel Rice of Muscatine, Iowa, was charged with meth trafficking, a Class X felony.
