BOISE, Idaho — The Boise Police Department (BPD) arrested a 45-year-old man as part of an investigation following a report of a sexual assault in early September.

Police on Wednesday said it received a report of a sexual assault on Sept. 2. Boise Police during its investigation discovered that the suspect in the case and the victim knew each other through a doctor-patient relationship. The victim was a patient, according to BPD.

Authorities were able to identify the suspect as Alexander Wills of Boise. Police allege that Wills made "aggressive physical contact with the victim" and committed forcible penetration by use of a foreign object.
