NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A man is facing charges after he reportedly broke into Nashville Collegiate Prep Kindergarten, according to an arrest affidavit.

The report says an alarm at Nashville Collegiate Prep Kindergarten was triggered just begore 12:30 a.m. on Tuesday.

Surveillance video reportedly shows the suspect enter through the back of the building. He then went to the front of the building, where he got stuck due to a door locking behind him.

The suspect then used what police believe to be an umbrella to knock the alarm off the wall, causing around $800 in damage to the security system, the affidavit said.
