The family of Pete Frates, including his growing daughter Lucy, cut the ribbon on the new Pete Frates exhibit at the Sports Museum at the TD Garden on Wednesday, marking a new honor for the Boston sports legend.
“Number 77 is over there, Ray Bourque. I'm looking up Jim Rice, Tom Brady, Pete Frates belongs here. OK. He belongs here,” said the museum’s executive director, Rusty Sullivan.
