Loss of moral center is destroying nation

Let us look within ourselves to understand the hate powering this country. I was raised in the 1970s and learned to value hard work, respect for others and to care for mankind. What in the world has happened to society?

We have raised a society of people who don’t respect others, use violence because they don’t agree with others and have a rigid intolerance of people who think differently. A society that takes pictures of people being killed rather than offering assistance. A world where morals no longer are important.

It breaks my heart that we are more hellbent on our differences than what we can do together. I graduated in the Class of 1977 from Harding High School and am so thankful that I grew up then rather than now.
