HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) - Temporary flight restrictions are in place for the 2025 Fall Festival.

The West Side Nut Club posted to social media there will be a one-mile radius from the approximate center of the Fall Festival outward. Flight restrictions from the surface to 1,000 feet AGL will be in place starting on October 6 and ending on October 12. Moreover, from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., the restrictions will be in place.

Officials explain unauthorized drones will not be allowed to fly within the area during said times, and drone detection systems will be in place monitoring the airspace.

Violators could be subjected to severe penalties, including fines of up to $75,000 for each violation, suspension or revocation of a drone pilot's certificate and in extreme cases, criminal penalties such as
