Ricky Hatton's son, Campbell, says the British boxing legend's passing has left his family 'heartbroken and 'hit for six'.
The Hall of Famer was found dead at his home in Hyde, Greater Manchester, on September 14 . He was 46 years old.
Greater Manchester Police are not treating Hatton's death as suspicious, while the circumstances surrounding it remain undisclosed at the time of writing.
Hatton leaves behind a boxing legacy that included world title reigns at super lightweight and welterweight, as well as an army of adoring fans and a loving family.
Campbell, who himself spent a stint in professional boxing, spoke about his grief for the first time in an emotional interview with ITV released on Wednesday.
