SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. (ABC22/FOX44) - According to South Burlington authorities, the alleged assault of a man with a stun gun near the Blue Mall on Monday evening may have been due to a political dispute.
South Burlington police said that they determined that Andrick Deppmeyer, 41, of Cabot, used a stun gun on a 39-year-old South Burlington man; they also said he may have been motivated by political differences.
The victim suffered minor injuries during the assault, which did not require medical attention.
Deppmeyer was cited and is scheduled to appear in court next Monday on a simple assault charge.
