EAST HAMPTON, Conn. (WTNH) — The Salvation Army is getting ready for the holiday season, as it unveiled its 2025 commemorative bell ornament on Wednesday.
The bell was unveiled in partnership with East Hampton-based Bevin Bells, which is the nation's last remaining bell manufacturer.
The company has made the iconic red kettle bells used by Salvation Army bell ringers across the country for decades.
"353 years, that is the number of combined years Bevin and the Salvation Army have been around," Michael Baldelli from the Salvation Army said. "Let that sink in. That's a long time for two organizations to be around."
The new ornament highlights this legacy and supports the Salvation Army's mission to provide vital programs and services for individuals and families in need.
