MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - The Dane County Sheriff’s Office released what charges it expects to be filed against the driver accused of leading police on a chase and hitting a Madison Police Department squad car.

Dane Co. detectives plan to refer a charge of first-degree reckless injury to the Dane County District Attorney’s Office against Christopher Brugger.

Monona Police Department listed three dozen charges it plans to request- including first-degree recklessly endangering safety, hit-and-run causing great bodily harm and attempted eluding. Other charges include various traffic violations, including six counts of reckless driving and five counts of failing to stop at a red signal.
