Archie Andrews is headed back to the small screen.

Two years after Riverdale concluded its seven-season run, a new TV show based on the Archie Comics series is in the works, according to multiple outlets .

The hourlong drama, titled Afterlife With Archie , is currently in development at Disney+ and has been given a script-to-series order, Deadline reported. The show’s official logline notes that the series “re-imagines the beloved town of Riverdale as an apocalyptic, nightmare-fueled hellscape overrun with flesh-eating zombies.”
