CINCINNATI —

Riverboats are starting to gather along the Ohio riverfront, gearing up for America's River Roots festival next weekend.

The five-day festival is free with more than one million people are expected to attend, checking out the shops, cuisine and cruises celebrating the nation's river cities.

The Belle of Cincinnati and River Queen, along with the Belle of Memphis are already docked along the riverfront ahead of the riverboat festival.

Seven other riverboats are set to arrive in the coming days from cities across the country, including New Orleans, Pittsburgh and St. Paul.
