BETHEL, Ohio (WXIX) - A domestic violence suspect out on bond attacked the same victim again and then barricaded inside a home when police arrived late Tuesday, according to Bethel Police Chief Chad Essert.
Clermont County’s SWAT team responded, but after an hours-long standoff, law enforcement went into the home and realized Adam Montunnas, 48, had already escaped before they arrived, the chief tells FOX19 NOW.
Montunnas remains at large and is wanted now on charges of strangulation, domestic violence and obstructing official business.
“This guy is a real problem,” Essert said.
It all started with a silent 911 call to county dispatchers at 8:40 p.m. Tuesday, according to the police chief.
The 911 call disconnected, but then the 911 center received a text message from the same number
