WACO, Texas — Two people are in custody after the McLennan County Sheriff's Office executed search warrants on two homes this week, the sheriff's office has announced.

According to the Sheriff's Office, the Organized Crime Unit and SWAT Team, with assistance from the Waco Police Department Drug Enforcement Unit, executed search warrants on Sept. 30 and Oct. 1.

The warrants were reportedly connected to "ongoing investigations into drug-trafficking activity at separate Waco residences."

The first warrant was executed at an address on Spring Street on Sept. 30, the Sheriff's Office said. The warrant reportedly led to the seizure of more than 250 grams of cocaine.
