NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - A man has been arrested and charged after officers found a stolen gun in his vehicle during a traffic stop in North Charleston on Saturday night.
Hezekiah Raysor III, 32, was arrested and charged with possession of stolen goods, driving under suspension, operating an uninsured vehicle and open container of beer, according to North Charleston Police.
North Nights Team Two CompStat officers were patrolling just before midnight near the intersection of Cosgrove and Rivers Avenues and noticed a vehicle with defective equipment.
During the traffic stop, officers noticed the smell of marijuana coming from the vehicle and saw an open container of beer in the cup holder.
