PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) - Roads are closed in northeast Portland after a truck crashed into a bridge over Northeast 223rd Avenue on Wednesday afternoon, according to Multnomah County.

The county said the truck hit the Northeast Marine Drive overpass over 223rd Avenue, and damaged the support structure.

The westbound lane of Marine Drive and all lanes of 223rd Avenue are closed at the scene while a structural engineer determines how much the bridge was damaged.

Drivers are asked to expect traffic delays, and watch for emergency crews.
