A note is posted on the doors at the Food City on Chickamauga Avenue in Rossville, Georgia alerting customers they are closing.

The note reads, "Attention customers, this location will be permanently closing Monday, November 3rd at 5pm." The notice also encourages customers to visit other surrounding location, but those locations are miles away.

We reached out to Food City, K-VAT Food Stores, Inc., and they provided this statement:

"The lease agreement for the Rossville Food City is expiring. As we were unable to reach an agreement, unfortunately we have made the difficult decision to close the store on November 3rd. We would like to thank our loyal customers for their support and look forward to serving them at our surrounding locations."
