STOWE, Vt. (ABC22/FOX44) – Fall foliage is the time of the year where people from all over the world come to Vermont to experience what a true autumn feels like.
Although, according to the Vermont Agency of Commerce and Community Development, in a state where tourism is a $4 billion industry, supporting more than 10% of Vermont's workforce, Canadian tourism specifically is down 33.9% From August 2024 to August 2025.
However, I spoke with the owner of Cold Hollow Cider, who says he has been, and will hopefully continue to be very busy.
The store is filled up with leaf peepers and we're seeing them come up route 100 daily, coach buses and organic travel by car. The big sight to be seen of course is the changing leaves on our beautiful mountains.
