GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - The Greenville City Council is once again set to discuss whether local breweries should be allowed to sell liquor.

Currently, breweries like Uptown Brewing Company and Pitt Street Brewing Company can’t sell liquor due to the city’s Bar 2022 ordinance .

However, change could be on the horizon. As of Monday, Greenville city leaders will once again consider allowing breweries to serve mixed drinks. We first reported these talks beginning in August. The discussions consider loosening several Bar 2022 restrictions.
