HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - Hawaii’s famous four-string instrument will be in the spotlight at the 18th annual Maui Ukulele Festival.
On Sunday, Oct. 19, a free show featuring highly acclaimed musicians takes place at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center (MACC)’s A&B Amphitheater and Yokouchi Pavilion.
The lineup includes Taimane, Paula Fuga, Brittni Paiva, Kanekoa, Rama Camarillo, Andrew & Jay Molina, Anthony Pfluke, Hula Honeys, Arlie Asiu, Benny Uyetake, Pat Simmons Jr., Ryan Perez, and the Kalama Intermediate School Ukulele Band.
Hawaii News Now’s very own Billy V will serve as event emcee.
Gates open at 1:30 p.m. and the concert starts at 2 p.m.
Door prizes of several ukulele will be given away throughout the afternoon.
