TURNER, Maine — A 44-year-old man is facing several charges, including three felonies, after a traffic stop in Turner Tuesday morning.
A deputy with the Androscoggin County Sheriff's Office stopped a suspicious car with apparent defects on Airport Road around 1:15 a.m., according to a social media post .
The driver, later identified as Daniel M. Jackson, allegedly gave false identification and became confrontational with deputies.
While speaking with Jackson, deputies claim they noticed signs of impairment from illegal drug use, according to the post. Jackson allegedly refused to comply when asked to exit his car.
Jackson then allegedly crashed into two deputy cruisers before driving away, the sheriff's office said. Deputies pursued Jackson in Turner, Auburn, and Lewiston.
