RANKIN COUNTY, Miss. (WLBT) - A juvenile has been arrested after a shooting in Jackson claimed the life of a teenager and also left his mother injured.
The shooting occurred on Tuesday at the Friends Corner Food Mart on Bailey Avenue.
A 19-year-old was killed and his mother, who was 50, was injured in the shooting.
Another woman, who was 21, was also injured.
The two women were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
According to authorities, at least two Black males shot into the red Chevy Impala that the teen and two women were sitting in when the shooting happened.
On Wednesday, 17-year-old Kamran Boclair was arrested for his alleged involvement in the shooting.
He was arrested in Rankin County and has been charged with murder and two counts of aggravated
