DAWSON SPRINGS, Ky. (WEHT) -- The investigation continues after a Dawson Springs volunteer basketball coach allegedly made threatening comments to students. Parents are looking to the school board as they search for answers while some believe this case is beginning to leave a stain on the Dawson Springs community.

“It's putting students against students, parents against parents, and that's just not what our community is known for,” says parent Ashley Miles. “We're known for coming together and that's just not the case right now. Unfortunately it's just hurting our community right now.”

According to police, Judd Tyson volunteered at Dawson Springs high school and was arrested on September 17 after they say he told a student he could "curb stomp him and didn't care if it broke his neck." D
