PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Four Philadelphia police officers were injured Tuesday afternoon while attempting to arrest a robbery suspect outside a check-cashing business in the city's Tioga neighborhood.
Police say the incident began around 3:30 p.m. near Broad Street and Roosevelt Boulevard, when officers tried to place handcuffs on the suspect. During the struggle, the suspect and an officer fell through the front window of the business, shattering the glass.
"This is Broad St and Philly so everything is always happening," said Anaese Hernandez, a regular customer at the store. "But I always be careful when I go here."
