PHOENIX — Phoenix police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a car that was allegedly involved in a deadly hit-and-run that occurred in 2023.

Police described the vehicle as a 2015 or newer black Chrysler 300 with tinted windows, black rims and damage to the front windshield on the passenger side.

According to Phoenix police, 16-year-old Paulina Ochoa was the victim in the fatal hit-and-run.

The crash occurred on June 9, 2023. Ochoa was walking westbound across 27th Avenue, just south of Weldon Avenue, around 11 p.m. when she was struck by the black Chrysler, which was traveling southbound, police said.

Ochoa was rushed to a nearby hospital where she died from her injuries.
