POLK COUNTY, Texas (KTRE) - An investigation into stolen property and later, drugs, resulted in the arrests of 13 people in Polk County.

According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, while investigating a residence in Polk County on Sept. 19, deputies found meth and stolen property that are allegedly linked to several local theft and burglary cases.

As a result of the findings, arrest warrants were issued for the owner of the residence, Kalen Cox, 34, of Livingston, and Matthew Lester, 36, of Livingston.

Cox was arrested on Sunday, during which she was found to have more meth. After her arrest, deputies say they linked Cox and Lester to at least eight burglary and theft cases, which led to the discovery of more stolen property.
