FORT SMITH, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Main Street Fort Smith is accepting applications for its Mini-Grant Program, which funds downtown building improvements that preserve historic character.

Main Street Fort Smith plans to provide up to $15,000 through a mini-grant program to help downtown business and property owners pay for certain property improvements. Matching grants will range from $1,500 to $7,500.
