Republican leaders are condemning controversial comments made on a Palm Bay city councilman's social media account.

Chandler Langevin has continued to double down on his words in posts targeting Indian Americans.

"They’re repulsive and they’re racist," Rep. Randy Fine said. "'No Indian adds value to America' is just a disgusting statement to make.”

Republican Reps. Randy Fine and Mike Haridopolos both said they did not agree with the councilman's comments.

"This is one case where we do not agree. Chandler — I’ve known him for years. I’m surprised by the comments. I do not agree with those comments," Haridopolos said.
