TOLEDO, Ohio — A man has been hospitalized after slamming into the side of a car in south Toledo shortly after 2 p.m. on Wednesday.
According to Toledo police, a 30-year-old woman from south Toledo was driving southbound on Thayer Street when she stopped at the stop sign just before Prouty Avenue. Investigators stated that traffic was clear and the woman proceeded to enter the intersection when a 58-year-old man from south Toledo, driving a minibike westbound on Prouty Avenue, failed to stop, and slammed into the side of the woman's vehicle
The man was transported to a local hospital with undisclosed injuries, but police stated that he is responsive at this time.
