FOUR people have been injured in a truck and car crash on the outskirts of Tamworth on Thursday morning.
Police were called to direct traffic at the scene at Bective on the Oxley Highway, near the intersection of Appleby Lane, after the vehicles collided about 8am on Thursday, October 2.
A spokesperson for NSW Ambulance told the Leader several paramedics were deployed to the crash scene to treat four patients.
One man, believed to be one of the drivers from a vehicle, was treated on scene for his injuries before being taken by road ambulance to Tamworth hospital.
It's understood he was in a stable condition on Thursday.
Three patients suffered minor injuries and were treated on scene, but did not require hospital treatment.
