PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) - President Trump said on Truth Social that federal troops are “in place“ in Oregon on Wednesday, but they haven’t been seen at Portland’s south waterfront ICE Facility.
While no federal troops were spotted on Wednesday, those who were at the building on Tuesday night say it was tense. Some people even said they left the protest after seeing arrests.
A FOX 12 crew on scene observed officers on a balcony appearing to record the crowd down below, before another group of federal officers exited the gates. They chased the people who were blocking the driveway to the ICE facility, then made one arrest.
