The Geelong Football Club have made a huge call for future end-of-year events after their recent "Mad Monday" celebrations quickly turned sour.
Geelong players fronted for their traditional Mad Monday celebrations after they lost to Brisbane in the Grand Final on Saturday 75 (11.9) v 122 (18.14).
The Cats released a statement on Wednesday night labelling the celebrations as disappointing, with the club deciding to scrap end-of-year events moving forward.
