MADISON (WKOW) — Opponents of Enbridge's Line 5 relocation in northern Wisconsin have voiced their concerns. They argue the project threatens wetlands, rivers, and the health of residents.

"So much of health, obviously, health care access is important, but so much of health is really the environment that we grow up in, the environment that we live in and this is a serious, serious risk to our environment," said an opponent, infectious disease physician Dr. Rob Stricker.

A high school student from Waunakee also spoke, saying "I'm only 17 years old, and I'm already tired of waiting for someone in power to ignore the interests of the rich and stand up for what's right."

The Department of Natural Resources has approved the permits for the relocation after an extensive review. However, some
