ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. —
A local museum will be extending its hours to accommodate Balloon Fiesta visitors. The National Museum of Nuclear Science and History says this will start today, Oct. 1, and last through Oct. 15.
Doors will open at 8 a.m. and stay open until 6 p.m. daily, giving visitors a chance to enjoy both the morning balloon ascensions and the interactive and educational side of the celebration.
The president and CEO of the museum states that by opening earlier and closing later, they are giving the families and travelers a chance to explore the exhibits without missing a moment of the city's magic.
The museum's normal hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., 361 days a year.
