SMITHS GROVE, Ky. – The search continues for an Edmonson County teen who’s been missing for nearly a year.

17-year-old Alexandria Piper of Rocky Hill was last seen October 14th in the Smiths Grove area.

She recently moved to Edmonson County while still attending Glasgow High School, and investigators believe she may have met someone online.

Sheriff James Vincent says they’ve gotten a few leads, but nothing concrete.

Still, he says the search for Piper is not over.

“We’ve actually had… first it started in Glasgow, then Louisville, and then we’ve never had a sighting in Tennessee, but we believe that maybe someone that she was with has ties to Tennessee,” Sheriff Vincent says.
