BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) -On Oct. 11 the Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College (SKYCTC) will host its first entrepreneur summit.

The summit gives students, alumni and community members the opportunity to engage with entrepreneurs and learn the skills needed to start their very own business.

The summit is broken down into three workshop sessions: how to start a business in Kentucky, how to fund your business, and branding.

Heather LaRue is a Retention and Resource Coordinator at SKYCTC. She describes the program as being completely interactive. One unique feature of this summit is that attendees can attend a Shark Tank session.
