Country music’s Zach Bryan made history Saturday night when he performed for 112,408 fans at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor, setting a new record for the largest ticketed concert audience, according to Variety , citing AEG Presents.
The Sept. 27 gig also marked another milestone for Bryan, who became the first artist to ever play at the stadium, which is the largest in the United States and the third largest in the world, according to TODAY .
Bryan’s record-breaking show surpassed the previous mark held by George Strait, who drew 110,905 fans to Kyle Field in Texas in June 2024. Before Strait, the Grateful Dead held the record with 107,019 attendees at their 1977 show at Raceway Park in New Jersey, Billboard reported.
