FLORENCE , S.C. -- After Wilson won the third set, Hartsville coach Parker Oldham had a heart-to-heart talk with his team.

"I told them to bounce back," Oldham said. "We really passed bad and really served bad there. And it just showed in that third set. It just showed the importance of how serve and serve-receive can drastically impact the results of a match."

His players responded.

"He just told us to play our heart out," said Mya Madaris, Hartsville's setter. "He told us not to let any balls drop that we're able to pick up."

The Red Foxes pulled away late in the fourth set to clinch the match.

"It was about the energy we created; it was really nice. It gave us a lot of spirit," Madaris said.
