PUTNAM COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) - After two years of hard work, the ribbon has officially been cut for 304 at Valley Pointe.

Brian Wadsworth, chief operating officer for AB Contracting, said the buildings are already filling up fast.

“As soon as we are getting them built they’re pretty much full,” Wadsworth said. “So, it’s just great to be a part of the solution which is helping to find additional housing opportunities for Putnam County and Hurricane.”

The apartments at 304 at Valley Pointe changed one resident’s mind about living in apartments.

“I’m not living here. I am not an apartment girl, it’s not happening,” said resident Mona Wandling. “Then she just watched me change and day two I was mad cause I couldn’t move in day two. I had to wait until April 4th. I love it here.”
