CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Cleveland State University is eliminating 22 academic programs and suspending several others.
CSU also announced admissions for some programs has reopened or reopened with program modification, which means it has undergone curricular changes.
In a statement to 19 News, Senior Vice President and Provost Dr. Nigamanth Sridhar said in the fall of 2023, the university began a comprehensive review of its academic programs.
“Based on this careful and sustained analysis, we made the strategic decision to revise certain program offerings in May 2024,” the statement said. “Thanks to our proactive work over the past two years, we adjusted our offerings thoughtfully and strategically, with students and academic quality at the center of each decision.”
