COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) said 11 people were contacted after an investigation into possible drug usage at an abandoned hotel Wednesday morning.
CSPD said an officer noticed active trespassing and what was believed to be possible drug usage at an abandoned hotel at the 1600 block of South Nevada Avenue in southern Colorado Springs.
Police said they noted that several of the room’s doors were open, there were people on the property and smoke was coming from one of the rooms.
Officers said they contacted and cited 11 people found trespassing at the motel. They said five people had outstanding warrants, and 16 warrants were cleared.
Drug paraphernalia was reportedly recovered from the property.
