Prosecutors in the forthcoming Brian Walshe trial are asking a judge to bar any reference to the discipline against several Massachusetts State Police troopers involved in the case, including former trooper Michael Proctor .

Walshe is accused of killing, then dismembering, his wife, Ana, inside their Cohasset home in early 2023. Both prosecutors and defense lawyers filed a flurry of motions in the case this week, ahead of the Oct. 20 trial, to attempt to admit and exclude specific evidence.
