DEDHAM, Mass. —

Brian Walshe is scheduled to go on trial later this month in connection with the 2023 murder of his wife, Ana Walshe. Prosecutors believe her body was dismembered, but the remains were never found.

Ana Walshe, a 39-year-old mother of three, went missing around New Year's Day in 2023. Investigators originally conducted a search for her in the area around her Cohasset home and a townhouse in Washington, D.C., where she worked.

That search was suspended by Jan. 7, 2023, and Brian Walshe was arrested on the charge of misleading investigators one day later. He was held on high bail, which was revoked after he was formally accused of murder on Jan. 17, 2023.

More than two-and-a-half years later, Brian Walshe's trial is scheduled to begin on Oct. 20.
