SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) -The Augustana hockey team is coming off an amazing 2nd season where they won 18 games and had their season end during the CCHA playoffs with an overtime loss.

But there were plenty of high points during the season and the loss to finish last year will only add incentive to this year’s squad that returns 20 players...the most in the league.

Colton Friesen, Augie Forward says, “Having that playoff experience in general was awesome. Just to feel what it was like to be in a playoff in the CCHA. So I think we’re going to build off that and just keep growing as a group.”
