A man, 31, was arrested for strangulation Sept. 23.

He had taken a woman to his home and his girlfriend later showed up, leading to an argument between them in which he was said to have assaulted her.

Counterfeiting: Richmond Road

Officers responded to Walgreen’s Sept. 27 for a report of a customer using fake $20 bills marked “replica” on them.

The Cleveland boy, 17, claimed that he did not know that the bills were fake, but it was soon discovered that he had been arrested by Willoughby police recently for using fake money to purchase an iPhone.

The boy will be charged in juvenile court for attempting to pass the counterfeit money.
