The Fayetteville high school football scene returns for Week 7 after all 10 NCHSAA schools were granted with a collective open week.

As we embark on week 7, conference play for all 10 public schools will begin as the new league realignments are officially underway, with teams split into three conferences: Eastern Sandhills, MidSouth, and Tri-County.
