The high school sports volleyball season is just over halfway over, and it's time to make your voices heard.

Cape Fear and Gray's Creek hold the best records in the public school scene, while Village Christian and Fayetteville Christian have the bragging rights so far in the private school sector.

Here are eight high school girls volleyball players to choose from for Midseason Player of the Year just before conference tournaments.

Taylor Baggett, Gray's Creek — The Western Carolina commit has been her phenomenal self this season. Baggett ranks No. 8 in the state in kills with 350. She also has 56 serving aces, 32 blocks, and 120 digs with a .324 hitting percentage.

Nitalia Carter, South View — Carter has been great for the first-place Tigers this season, and has notched 73 kills, 90
